Make sure router should be configured properly..
Power on the router and connect ethernet cable between modem and router .
Click on the wifi icon on computer you will see your router name
select it and than open internet browser
Type there 192.168.1.1 and hit enter …it will bring you to the router login page
Setup wizard will appear just follow the steps and configured your router..
Than restart your router and computer
Than connect your computer and peripheral devices with router it will work..
First of all you need to check that all settings of your linksys router are correct or not .
Open the browser and type in the ip address 192.168.1.1 and login to your router.
If the internet is up and running then you need to restart the devices on which the internet is not working.
Restart your router also.
Then go ahead and reconnect all the devices again. with fresh settings
if your linksys router is not working then you need to check two things here that your router is not properly configured or not. to check your router main settings you can follow these steps:-
1.check you default gateway by doing ipconfig on cmd window .
2. ping the same gateway on any browser.
3. it will ask your your username and password .
4. give details to prompt asking username and password.
5. now you are at router main page check few settings like channel settings and wireless settings.
there you can find resolution of the problem. if problem still persists then you can reset your router and re setup the device. for re setup kindly follow these steps:-
You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
