How to setup CPE610 as AP mode with my DZS router?

To setup CPE610 as AP mode with my DZS router,first we need to provide a static IP address to the computer.We need to open a network connection window(press windows + R and type ncpa.cpl on the run window). On the Network Connection window right click on Ethernet or LAN adapter and goto the properties. Select Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) and again click on properties,Now select use the following IP address option and click on properties again.Select “use the following IP address” and type the information.

1. Now connect an Ethernet cable between your PoE Adapter and the CPE610(cable should be connected to the PoE port on both the ends) and after that connect another cable between PoE adapter(LAN Port) and the computer.
2. Open your browser on the computer and type this address:- 192.168.0.254
3. it will take you to the CPE610 Pharos setup page and over there, create your login password and hit next.
4. Now Select AP mode and hit next
5. After that follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup.

first we have to provide the static ip

Press the windows key and letter R at the same time, it will open a run box for you. In that run box type ncpa.cpl, it will open the network connection window. After that make a right click on the Ethernet adapter and properties option over there. Now highlight the ipv4 and click on properties again. Select use the following IP address and type the information given below:-

IPv4 Address:- 192.168.0.10

Subnet mask:- 255.255.255.0

and then save the settings.

Now connect an Ethernet cable between your PoE Adapter and the CPE610(cable should be connected to the PoE port on both the ends) and after that connect another cable between PoE adapter(LAN Port) and the computer. Now type 192.168.0.254 in the url bar of the browser, it will take you to the CPE610 Pharos setup page, then click on next. Now select AP mode and click next, then complete the instructions for the setup

In order to setup CPE610 as an AP Mode, we need to follow some steps which are shown below:-

1. First of all, we have to provide a static Ip address to the computer and for that
   • Press window+R button
   • Now Run box will open and in that box type “ncpa.cpl” (without quotes)
   • It will open a Network Connections window
   • After that Right Click on the Ethernet(Local Area Connection) Adapter and go to the Properties option
   • Now Highlight the “Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)” option and click on the Properties again
   • Select “use the following IP address” and type the information as shown below:-

   IPv4 Address:- 192.168.0.10

   Subnet mask:- 255.255.255.0

   And then save the settings.

2. Now connect an Ethernet cable between your PoE Adapter and the CPE610(cable should be connected to the PoE port on both the ends) and after that connect another cable between PoE adapter(LAN Port) and the computer.
3. Open your browser on the computer and type this address:- 192.168.0.254
4. it will take you to the CPE610 Pharos setup page and over there, create your login password and hit next.
5. Now Select AP mode and hit next
6. After that follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup.

Once you are done with the setup, you need to connect the POE adapter's LAN port with the help of Ethernet cable to the computer.

Now you need to assign static IP address on your computer, to do the same follow these steps:

Press Win key + R and in the Run box type ncpa.cpl then hit ok.

-Now on Network Connections window right click on Ethernet and choose Properties.

-Under Ethernet properties double click on Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4),  over there you need to choose Use the following IP address

IP Address: 192.168.0.10

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 192.168.0.254

After filling this information you need to close all the windows by hitting OK

Once you will done with the static IP address then you need to open any one of the web browsers and visit http://192.168.0.254

Over there you need to choose Quick Setup and then select Access Point, by following onscreen instructions complete the setup.

Once the setup complete, unplug the ethernet cable from the computer end and put that end into one of the 4 ports of the router.

After 5 Minutes try to connect any one of your wireless devices with the CPE610's wifi network and try to browse any website so that we can check that setup do successfully.
