I have an extender that I've had for two years that's not connecting anymore. I've reset the extender & reconnected it, the connection is made but within a minute the 2.4, 5, arrow lights turn orange & the netgear light flashes. Every two minutes all the lights turn green then it goes back to the 2.4, 5, arrows being orange & netgear flashing.

You are not setting up the extender properly .Try these steps to setup it –
1.Plug the extender in the wall socket.
2.Press the reset pinhole and hold it for 30 seconds then release it.
3.Wait for 2 minutes then you will get solid green power.
4.Connect your device on Netgear extender network.
5.Open your browser and type http://192.168.1.250 / 192.168.1.254.
6.Setup wizard will appear just follow the steps and configure the extender .

Reset the extender (Press and hold the reset pinhole for 20 seconds than release).
Click on wifi icon on computer you will see extender name there
Select extender name and connect it.
Now open internet browser andf type the ip address 192.168.1.250 and hit enter.
It will bring you to extender configuration page and a setup wizard will appear just follow the steps .
Once its configured just go ahead and try to connect other devices like Iphone and check you are able to access intenet from extender ..
if you are not able to connect your extender it means extender is not properly configured with router. simply just reset you extender and re setup the device. To re setup your netgear ex6200 kindly follow these steps:-
TO CONNECT YOUR NETGEAR EX6200 EXTENDER YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS
1. CONNECT YOUR EXTENDER IN A DIRECT WALL SOCKET.
2. PRESS WPS BUTTON ON YOUR EXTENDER FOR 3-5 SECONDS.
3.PRESS WPS BUTTON ON YOUR ROUTER (YOU CAN DO IT BY ACCESSING ROUTER MAIN PAGE ALSO).
4.IT WILL BE CONNECTED TO YOUR ROUTERS NETWORK.
5.YOU WILL SE YOUR NETWORK NAME WITH EXT AFFIXED IN IT.
6.CONNECT TO THE SAME NETWORK .
7. IT WILL OPEN A SETUP WIZARD FOR YOU.
8.FOLLOW THE STEPS OF WIZARD AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO NOW.
(IF PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS YOU CAN RESET YOUR DEVICE.)
