To configure your netgearwndr3400 router as a wireless repeater:

2. open a browser on same device and ping the default gateway it can be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 or else you can visit routerlogin.net/com.
3.You are prompted to enter a username and password. Enter the following default login credentials:

4.Select Wireless and verify that the wireless settings match the base unit exactly.
5,Click ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless Repeating.

8.In the Repeater IP Address field, type the IP address of the repeater router.
9.To prevent wireless clients from associating with the repeater and allowing LAN client associations only, select Disable Wireless Client Association. You can leave the check box cleared if you prefer wireless clients to be able to associate with the repeater.
