How to seprate the 2.4G & 5G networks on Linksys RE9000 Range extender?
First you need to Login into the extender using the help of IP address assigned by the main router.Over there you will be able to separate the 2.4G and 5G Name of your extender’s wifi by disabling the Band Steering option

First you have to login to the extender with an IP address given by main router once you are logged in you can separate the 2.4G and 5G networks by disabling the Band steering option.
You need to login into the linksys extender's settings and for that you need to get the ip address for the extender and to get the ip address ,you need to login into the main router settings and under connected devices, you can get the ip address for the extender
now enter that ip address on your web browser and then it will take you to linksys extender's page.
Under the extended wireless settings, you need to uncheck the band steering option
and then 2.4G and 5G band will be separated.
Login to the extender with the IP Address which is provided by main router.Once you are logged in you will be able to seperate the 2.4g and 5g network name by disabling the Band steering option.
