In this case, you have to click on the forget network option from your phone and to reconnect type a new password to connect your device with the wifi.....

If we have changed the WIFI Password but not The Network KEY,its ok , we can just go to the phone and we need to click on forget ID and try re-connecting with the new password..

First, You need to forget the network from your cellphone and after that connect it to the wifi using your new wifi password.

If you are trying to connect your cellphone and other device to the new router & used the old name with the new password in that case devices are trying to connect to that network with old password. So, First you should forget that network from your phone and your other devices then try to connect with the network with new password you will successfully be connected with the network.

For that, you need to forget the same network and then connect to it again by typing the new password that you assigned for your wifi.
