My tplink Router's(archer c1200) wifi is not working, 2.4G band is not enabled and 5G band is grayed out, i can't turn ON the 5G band,Tried the reset as well,did'nt work.How do i fix that??
This is something related to firmware issue and you need to upgrade to latest firmware and then login to the set up page of tplink then go to advanced tab and select system tools option and click on firmware upgrade. Your issue  will be resolved.
This could be the firmware issue.to resolve that first you need to download the latest firmware,downloaded by TP link official website.
Then login to the set up page.
then go to advanced tab > system tools > firmware upgrade.
after that click on upgrade,problem will be fixed.
It looks like a Firmware issue, you need to update the firmware on your tplink router
and for that you need to follow these steps:-
- Login into your tplink router's settings by using your smartphone or computer
- once you are logged in ,then go to the advanced tab
- Now go to the system tools and select the firmware upgrade option(before going into this option ,you need to download the firmware file for this router from the official tplink website.)
- After that upload the firmware file that you have downloaded and then click on upgrade.
