TO SET UP YOUR NETGEAR WNDR200V5 ROUTER You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6.that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.

First check the attachment for cable connections for router and modem.
1.Always use Wall power socket.No extension or Surge protector.
2.Once you got all connection good open your browser.
3.Type in address http://routerlogin.net / 192.168.1.1 .
4.Netgear genie will appear .
5.Select “Help me Choose” .
6.Wizard will configure your router.
7.After setup is done you can remove the cable from computer .
Please make sure your modem is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable.
1.After all the connections are fine,connect your computer with an ethernet cable.
2.Once you have connected the cable from the router open your browser and type http://routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1.
3.You will see netgear genie so follow the steps on the screen and it will be set up.
4.once setup is done connect everything to the wifi router and remove the ethernet cable.
