How do i setup Linksys RE6300 with Frontier 7500 Modem/router's wifi?
to setup Linksys RE6300 , First Plug in to the power.Once its done,then connect your computer with Router with LAN Cable.
Open 192.168.1.1 on your browser > set up page > start .
Then you will have to follow the instruction to complete the set up.
Plug in your linksys extender to the power socket
Now connect your smartphone or computer with the extender's network
open your browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.1
then it will take you to the linksys setup page and from there click on the start option
and follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup process
To setup Linksys RE6300 range extender follow these steps:-
>Plug in the range extender into the wall socket near to your Frontier 7500 Modem/router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 30 seconds.
>Connect any of your wireless devices with Linksys extender wireless network.
>Open any browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.1 or http://extender.linksys.com
>Now you will see the setup wizard in the page, follow the instructions to setup the range extender.
>If you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
>Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
>Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
You can follow these steps to setup your Linksys RE6300 Range Extender:-
- Place the Linksys range extender nearby to your home router and power it on for the initial setup.
- Press the WPS button on your extender and hold it down for 3-5 seconds.
- Within the 1-minute press WPS button on your home router.
- Wait for the extender lights get stable and now try to connect any of your wireless devices with the extended network.
