how to update the firmware on the linksys extender?







To update the firmware on the linksys extender follow these steps:
- First you need to type the ip address on the browser and then it will redirect us to the linksys extender’s page
-  and then it will redirect us to the linksys extender’s page.
- enter the login password(default is admin)
- And then from left hand side, click on the firmware upgrade.

To update the firmware on the Linksys extender , log into the main router’s settings to find the IP address of the extender. From there go to connected devices list to get the IP address of the extender. Now login with the same IP address. Once we get the ip address, type that ip address on the web browser and then it will redirect us to the linksys extender’s page. Enter the login password(default is admin) and then from left hand side, click on the firmware upgrade.

To update the firmware on the Linksys extender , we need to find the IP address of the extender,we can get that after logging in to the main router's settings.From there goto connected devices list and get the IP address of the extender. Now login with the same IP address.Default login password will be admin.On the left you will find the option firmware upgrade.
