How do i recover the wifi password for my amped range extender?
To recover the wifi password for my amped range extender Connect any one of your computer to the range extender with the help of an ethernet cable. Then open any browser on the computer and type at top address bar http://setup.ampedwirelss.com. It will open setup page and next to the Extended SSID there will be password given , just click on the eye icon you will see the password. If you want to recover the wifi password for your Amped range extender then, First you need to connect any wireless device to the range extender with hard wire.then open setup.ampedwireless.com on the browser.From the dashboard, right next to SSID you will see the password there.Just click on the eye icon to show the password.
You can follow these steps to recover the wifi password of your Amped range extender:
1 Connect any one of your computer hard wired to the range extender.
2 Open any of the web browsers and at the long address bar type http://setup.ampedwirelss.com
3 On the dashboard next to the Extended SSID there will be password mentioned, you just need to click on the eye icon to show the password.

- In order to recover your wifi password for the amped extender ,we have to reconfigure it again as in most of the cases we would not be able to login into the extender's settings after the configuration.
- And to reconfigure it again we have to follow these steps:-
- Turn On your Amped Extender and press and hold the reset button for at least 30 seconds and then release it.
- Now connect your computer or smartphone with the extender’s network
- open your browser and type this address in the address bar:- 192.168.1.240
- it will take you to the setup page of your amped extender ,from there follow the instructions on the screen and connect your extender with the router’s wifi network

we can also configure this extender through the wps method, for that we can press and hold the wps button from the extender for 3 seconds and then with in 2 minutes press and hold the wps button from the main router for 3 seconds and then wait for the lights to get stable on the extender.
