how to configure the linksys extender with the cable?
Plug in your Extender to wall socket and connect your computer and the extender with an ethernet cable and then go to web browser and the address 192.168.1.1. You will be at setup page just the follow the instructions given and do the setup process and once the setup is done configure the extender and connect any of our wireless devices with the network. You can also disconnect ethernet cable which was connected between your extnder and computer.
To configure Linksys RE6300 range extender,First plug in the extender into the wall near to the router just for initial setup.Reset the extender if any changes have been done before.Now connect the computer with extender's ethernet port with cable.Now open 192.168.1.1 on the browser.Now from the setup wizard,follow the instructions to setup the range extender.You can also change the network name or password from there , if you want it.Now save the settings and restart the extender.Once you see the lights solid then you can connect the devices.
To setup Linksys RE6300 range extender follow these steps:-
>Plug in the range extender into the wall socket near to your home router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 30 seconds.
>Connect any one of your computers with Linksys extender's ethernet port via ethernet cable.
>Open any browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.1 or http://extender.linksys.com
>Now you will see the setup wizard in the page, follow the instructions to setup the range extender.
>If you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
>Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
>Once extender light gets solid Green then try to connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
To complete the setup the the linksys extender
you need to plug in the extender to power socket
now you need to connect your PC with extender with the help of the hard wire
now open any browser on the the PC and type on the long address bar 192.168.1.1

just need to follow the set one by one
then setup is done .
Turn On your Extender and connect an Ethernet cable between your computer and the extender
After that open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.1
it will take you to the setup page of the extender
Now the follow the instructions and complete the setup process
and once our extender is configured then we can connect our wireless devices with the network and we can also disconnect that ethernet cable which was connected between your computer and the extender
