How we can change the wifi password on the linksys extender?

Login into the router and on  connected devices list,  look at the IP address for Linksys extender you will be able to login into the extender settings. Go to basic settings and  change the 2.4/5GHz GHz Extended Wireless Settings like extended wifi name or password. After making changes click on save.

If you want to change the wifi password of your Linksys range extender then first you need to login onto the router dashboard,then go to connected device list.From there you will see the IP address of Linksys extender.With the help of the IP address you can login to extender settings.From there you can change 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz wireless settings e.g. network name or password.Once you are done then click on save settings.

Whenever we configure our extender with the main router, router provides  a ip address to that extender so first of all ,we need to find that ip address and to find the ip address of our extender we have to follow these steps:-

Login into the main router's settings

once you are logged in then under the connected devices list  ,find your linksys extender and check the ip address

Now type that same ip address on the browser and it will take you to extender's login page.

enter your login password and after that you can change your wifi password for the extended network.
