How we can change the router access password on the linksys router?

To change the password of the linksys router connect any device  with ethernet cable and go to any browser and type  192.168.0.1 and it will help you to go to login  page and on that page you can change the password of the router and just save it. Your password is change.

In such case you need to go to the login page of your router.

Once you logged in then go to the connectivity tab.

Now you need to click on the edit option on your router settings.

Now you can create a new password and save the settings.

IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE PASSWORD OF THE LINKSYS ROUTER WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS                                                                                         FIRST OF ALL WE HAVE TO LOGIN ON THE PAGE OF THE EXTENDER WITH THE HELP OF THE IP ADDRESS  192.168.0.1                                                                                   ONCE YOU LOGGED IN GO TO THE CONNECTIVITY TAB AND UNDER THE BASIC TAB ,NEXT TO THE ROUTER PASSWORD ,CLICK ON THE EDIT                                           AND CREATE A NEW WIFI PASSWORD AND SAVE THE SETTINGS FINALLY

Connect your computer or smart phone with the router's network.Then browse 192.168.1.1 on the browser.It will take you to the router login page.Enter the credential there.After you are logged in , go to connectivity tab.then underthe basic tab click on edit and create the new password and save the settings.

now open any browser and type on the long address bar 192.168.0.1

it will help you to login in the device setting page

• connect your computer or smartphone with the router's network
• open your browser and type this address:- https://linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1
• It will take you to the login page ,now login into your router settings using your current router password
• once you are logged in, then go to the connectivity tab
• and under the basic tab, next to the router password ,click on the Edit
• create your new router password and save the settings

Steps to change the router access password on the linksys router:-

• open a web browser and enter the IP Address of the router on the Address bar"192.168.1.1" then press [Enter].
• A prompt will appear asking for your User Name and Password.  Enter your login credentials to access your router’s web-based setup page.The default is "admin" for both.
• Click on the Administration tab.  Enter the new password in both the Router Password and Re-enter to confirm fields.
• Click Save Settings and click the Continue button on the next page.
