How do i connect the 5G band of my linksys re6700 range extender with Dlink router?
To connect the 5G band of linksys re6700 range extender with Dlink router Put the Linksys range extender into the wall socket and plug it nearby to your home router. Press the WPS button on your extender and hold it down for 3-5 seconds and right after that  press WPS button on your home router. When the lights get stable and try to connect any of your phone or computer with the extended network. It will fix your issue.
To connect 5g band of the extender with D-link router,First we need to place the extender , near to the main router.Now press the WPS button the the extender for about 10 seconds.within next 1 minute press the WPS button on the D-link router also.Once you see the solid light on the extender that means the extender is set up.
If you want to connect your range extender with 5GHz network follow the steps:-
- Place the Linksys range extender nearby to your home router.
- Press the WPS button on your extender and hold it down for 3-5 seconds.
- Within the 1-minute press WPS button on your home router.
- Wait for the extender lights get stable and now try to connect any of your wireless devices with the extended network.
