How do i reconfigure my Amped RE2600M range extender?
To re-configure the amped 2600m range extender, first connect the extender to the power , near to the main router just for initial setup.Reset the extender if any changes have been made before.Now connect any wireless device with the extender's network.Then open 192.168.1.240 on the browser.You will see the scan button on the page,click on scan and let it scan all available networks,then select the one that you want to extend and enter the password.In the next page it will let you change the wifi name and the password for the extender's network.After it's all done then you can save the settings and it will be rebooted on its own.after it is started then you can try connecting the devices after the light on the extender is solid.
To setup amped re2600m range extender follow these steps:-
>Plugin the amped range extender near to your home router for the initial setup.
*If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 30 seconds.
>Connect any one of your wireless or wired devices with the amped wireless network.
>Open any browser and in the address bar type http://192.168.1.240 or http://setup.ampedwireless.com
>Now you will see the SCAN button on the page, click on it and after that it will scan the wireless networks nearby to it.
>From the list select network that you want to extend and then enter the password for your home wifi.
>In the next step if you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it or you can also clone the settings over there.
>Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
>Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.
