How to change the login password of netgear router ?

In order to do that first you need to connect the your device(computer,phone ,tablet, etc) with the router network then open any browser on there and type at the very top of the screen ip address that is 192.168.1.1 and hit enter after that then type the default user name and password for login the router settings once you are in you need to click the advance setting of the router and click on administrator then click on set password now Type the old password, and type the new password twice then click on the apply button and save the settings.

To change the login password of netgear router , first we need to connect the router to the power.Connect any wireless device with the router's network.Open 192.168.1.1 OR routerlogin.net on the browser.When you see the login or admin page , you need to enter the user name and password.(User name : admin , Password is password). After you are logged in,goto administartion , then set password.Now type the old password and then re-type the new password.Make sure that you check the box that says Enable Password Recovery so that you can recover the password in future if you forget.Now click on apply button.It will save the settings

OR YOU CAN USE admin BOTH FOR THE  PASSWORD AND THE USERNAME

SELECT ADVANCED THEN ADMINISTRATION AND THEN SET PASSWORD

TYPE YOUR OLD PASSWORD THEN TYPE YOUR NEW PASSWORD TWO TIMES

TO SECURE YOUR PASSWORD IN THE FUTURE YOU HAVE TO SELECT ENABLE PASSWORD RECOVERY CHECK BOX

HIT APPLY

AND SAVE IT

Steps to change the login password of netgear router :-

1. Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to your router's network.
2. Type http://routerlogin.net or "192.168.1.1" into your web browser's address bar.
   The login window displays.
3. Enter the router user name and password.
   The user name is admin and the default password is password.
   The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select ADVANCED > Administration > Set Password.
5. Type the old password, and type the new password twice.
6. To be able to recover you password in the future, select the Enable Password Recovery check box.
7. Click the Apply button.
   Your settings are saved.
