  • 1.Plug in the router to the power outlet.
    2.Connect a Ethernet cable from modem to your router’s WAN port.
    3.Connect another cable from router to computer .
    4.Now open your browser and type in the address bar http://routerlogin.net .
    5.Select ‘Help me Choose’ and follow the instructions on the screen.
    6.Once your setup is completed remove the ethernet from computer.

  • TO SET UP YOUR ROUTER You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
    after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6.that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.

    4.Open your browser and type http:routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 .
    5.Select “Help me Choose” in the wizard and begin the setup.
    6.Setup will help you through the configuration .
    7.Once the setup is done you can remove the ethernet cable from your computer.

  • First check the attachment for cable connections for router and modem.
    1.Always use Wall power socket.No extension or Surge protector.
    2.Once you got all connection good open your browser.
    3.Type in address http://routerlogin.net / 192.168.1.1 .
    4.Netgear genie will appear .
    5.Select “Help me Choose” .
    6.Wizard will configure your router.
    7.After setup is done you can remove the cable from computer .
