i forgot my login username and password for my netgear router, how do i recover my password using recovery information?

Connect your computer with the router's network

open your browser and type this address:- https://routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1

then it will going to show you the login screen , where it will ask for the username and password that we don't remember.

you can try the default information(i.e username is admin and password is password itself), if it works then great otherwise you have to click on Cancel option.

once you click on the cancel option ,it will take you to the recovery page ,where it will ask for the router's serial number

You need to enter the serial number of the router (you can find serial number at the back side of the router)

and then hit next. Now you need to answer the security questions and then hit next

if your details are correct then on the next page it will show you your username and password

Now Note down the information and then click on the login option, enter your login details.
