- Connect your Netgear extender to the power.
- Connect your smartphone or computer with the extender's network.
- After that, open your web browser and type the IP address:- 192.168.1.250
- It will take you to the setup page of your Netgear extender
- Now follow the instructions on the screen and complete the setup.

plugin the extender into the wall socket near to your router for the initial setup
now connect any wireless device like computer, laptop or smartphone with the extender network and open the browser on the device and then in the long address type the IP address
it will take you to the setup wizard page, follow the instructions over there and then complete the setup process.

To setup your netgear range extender-
1.Plug your extender in direct wall socket.
2.You need a wireless device to do setup.
3.Connect your device to extender’s network .
4.Once you are connected open your browser.
5.Type in the top address bar http://mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250
6.Setup wizard will appear just choose range extender as your mode.
7.Follow the steps to complete the setup.
Setting up netgear extender is really easy using WPS button. Here are the steps you will need to follow,
•First you will need to place the Netgear extender near to your router and then plug in the power to WiFi extender.
•Press the WPS button located at the Netgear extender, within two minutes, netgear extender will connects itself with the existing network.
•You will notice that the LED status will blink in green colour.
Once your Netgear extender is connected with the existing network you can place the WiFi extender for the dead zones you are facing at your location.
TO CONNECT YOUR NETGEAR EXTENDER YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS
1. CONNECT YOUR EXTENDER IN A DIRECT WALL SOCKET.
2. PRESS WPS BUTTON ON YOUR EXTENDER FOR 3-5 SECONDS.
3.PRESS WPS BUTTON ON YOUR ROUTER (YOU CAN DO IT BY ACCESSING ROUTER MAIN PAGE ALSO).
4.IT WILL BE CONNECTED TO YOUR ROUTERS NETWORK.
5.YOU WILL SE YOUR NETWORK NAME WITH EXT AFFIXED IN IT.
6.CONNECT TO THE SAME NETWORK .
7. IT WILL OPEN A SETUP WIZARD FOR YOU.
8.FOLLOW THE STEPS OF WIZARD AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO NOW.
