In order to do the manual setup of Linksys RE6400 Range Extender follow these steps:-
- Using a computer, connect your device to the range extender’s default Wi-Fi name.
- On your web browser, “192.168.1.1” in the Address bar then press [Enter].
- Click start setup & select your Wi-Fi.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password in the field, then click Next.
- You will be prompted to configure the extended wireless network that the range extender will be broadcasting. Change the settings as you prefer or leave the defaults as is, then click next.
- Create an admin password to secure your Linksys RE6400.
- Then click on save
