  • 1.Reset your router first .Hold reset button for 30 seconds then release.
    2.Once power LED is solid connect your device to netgear wireless network.
    3.Default password will be on the bottom of your router.
    4.Once your are connected open your browser and type http://routerlogin.net or try 192.168.1.1 .
    5.You will see the setup wizard Select ‘Help me choose’ and the setup wizard will auto detect all the settings and will setup your router.

  • FOR NETGEAR ROUTER SETUP –

    1.FIRST STEP IS TO PLUG-IN THE ROUTER TO THE WALL OUTLET.

    2.LOOK FOR THE POWER LIGHT ONCE IT TURNS SOLID GREEN/WHITE.

    3.CONNECT AN ETHERNET CABLE FROM YOUR MODEM TO THE YELLOW INTERNET SLOT.

    4.AFTER THAT CONNECT AN ETHERNET CABLE FORM THE ROUTER TO THE COMPUTER.

    5.OPEN YOUR BROWSER AND YOU WILL SEE THE SETUP WIZARD ,IF NOT OPEN http://WWW.ROUTERLOGIN.NET.

    6.FOLLOW THE STEPS ON THE SCREEN AND YOUR ROUTER SETUP IS COMPLETE.

  • Steps you need to follow for setup-

    1.Connect power directly in wall socket.
    2.Take a ethernet cable and connect modem with router.(Router’s WAN PORT)
    3.Take another ethernet cable connect it with router’s lan port to computer.
    4.Open your browser or else steup wizard will appear on its on.
    5.In your browser type http://routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1.
    6.Setup wizard will appear use default login(username-admin/password-password)
    7.Setup will start and select – ‘Help me choose’.
    8.Wizard will auto detect all the settings and configure it for you .

  • To setup your Netgear N300 router you need to follow these steps:-
    You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
    after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
    7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
    i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
    8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
