  • 1.Reset your modem router first by Holding down the reset button for 30 seconds then release.
    2.Once power LED is solid and all the lights are back connect your computer to the router with hard wire .
    3.Once your are connected open your browser and type https://routerlogin.net or try 192.168.1.1 .
    4.Login to your net gear router page with default login username and password i.e admin and password
    5.Now the net gear set up wizard is here in front of you .
    6.Set up your connection and enjoy.

  • FOR NETGEAR C7000 CABLE MODEM ROUTER.

    1. PLUG THE ROUTER IN THE WALL OUTLET AND CONNECT A COAXIAL CABLE.
    2.USE COAXIAL CABLE THAT YOUR INTERNET PROVIDERS PROVIDED YOU AND CONNECT THE CABLE TO THE C7000 .
    3. PRESS THE POWER BUTTON AT THE BACK OF THE NETGEAR C7000 TO TURN IT ON .
    4.THE POWER LIGHT WILL BE SOLID GREEN,NOW OPEN ROUTERLOGIN.NET AND SETUP THE ROUTER USING INTERNET PROVIDERS DETAILS.

  • Steps For setup-

    1.Connect the cable to router’s port.(Coax in coax port or cat5 in LAN port)
    2.If you are running on dynamic connection then you dont need ant internet provider details.
    3.If you are running on PPPoe then you need ISP details.(Contact Your ISP for details)
    4.Use another cable from another router’s port to computer.
    5.Then open your browser and type 192.168.0.1 /192.168.1.1 or http:// routerlogin.net.
    6.Setup wizard will appear just follow the steps .

  • To setup your Netgear c 7000 router you need to follow these steps:-
    You need to plug in a cable from your existing modem to internet port of your router.
    after connecting this cable connect a cable from port no-4 of your router to your computer. then follow these steps:
    1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
    2. Type CMD in the run box.
    3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
    4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
    5. Type your user name and password .
    6. that will open a setup wizard for you so follow the steps and you are good to go.
    7. while following the setup wizard kindly make sure the settings you are choosing is correct
    i.e time zone and wireless network name and key.
    8. kindly upgrade the router firmware as well if there is any update pending over there.
