Plug in your Echo into a power outlet and go to your phone and open the Alexa app. You will see settings on the left navigation panel click on that. Select the option of Set up a new device. Press  the Action button on your Echo and hold it until the light ring turns orange.  It will connect your phone or tablet your Echo. You will see a list of available WiFi networks. Go to home WiFi network Select the option of Shaw. The name of your Shaw WiFi network is present on the white sticker on your modem. Enter the network password if you dont know check the backside of your modem and Shaw WiFi network is not visible, scroll down and tap Rescan. Click on connect,  your Echo is connected to your Shaw WiFi network. You will recieve confirmation message, and your Echo is ready to use.
