I am not able to login into my linksys router, ip address ie. 192.168.1.1 and linksyssmartwifi.com both are not working ,what should i do?
Just first check that linksys is turned on and is connected with ethernet cable or wirelessly to the network and computer or not. Then type address and try to go to setup page. If still not working then press the reset key for 30 seconds and let the router reboot. If still not working then that means firmware is corrupted or router has some hardware issue.
If you are not able to login to the Linksys router dashboard using 192.168.1.1 or www.linksyssmartwifi.com, then try and follow the instructions below:
- Make sure the router is powered On
- The router should be connected to the computer via Ethernet Cable or via Wireless
- Try and open the Dashboard again see if that works.
- If still not letting you reach the dashboard - Try and change the browser
- Reset the Linksys router by pressing the reset button down for 30 seconds
- Then let the router boot first
- Try and reach the dashboard with the default Ip 192.168.1.1 or www.linksyssmartwifi.com
Note- If it is still not working, try to reset the router a couple of more times. If still not working it could be the router is bad or the firmware of the router is corrupted.
