how to setup my linksys RE6300 extender using wps method

To connect  linksys re 6300 extender to the network connect linksys to the wall socket and press reset key for 30 seconds. Make sure extender is close to the modem(maximum distance not more then 10 feet). Press the WPS key on extender for 5 seconds and within 1 minute press the reset key on the router for 5 seconds . Once the light get solid. Your extender will get connect to the internet.

IN ORDER TO SET UP THE LINKSYS RE6300 WIFI RANGE EXTENDER WITH THE HELP OF WPS METHOD WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS

FIRST OF ALL WE HAVE TO PLUG THE RANGE EXTENDER NEAR TO THE ROUTER

WE HAVE TO PRESS THE WPS BUTTON FOR 3 SECONDS ON THE RANGE EXTENDER

WAIT FOR 1-2 MINUTES THEN YOU HAVE TO PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE ROUTER FOR 3 SECONDS AND RELEASE

ONCE THE POWER LIGHT ON THE RANGE EXTENDER CONVERTS FROM BLINKING GREEN TO THE SOLID GREEN THEN THE RANGE EXTENDER IS IN THE SET UP

HENCE IT WILL INDICATE THAT IT IS WORKING FINE

In order to set up a Re6300 extender using the WPS method please follow the instructions:

• Plug your Linksys extender to a near power socket to your router
• press and hold the WPS button on the extender for 3 Seconds within 1 minute press the WPS button on the router for 3 seconds
• Once you see the blinking green light on the extender goes to a solid green
• It will indicate that the extender now is working fine.

> Turn ON your Linksys extender and make sure your extender should be plugged in with in 15 ft from the main Router(just for the initial setup)
> Once you see blinking orange light on your extender then press and hold the wps button from your extender for 3 seconds and release it.
> Now with in 2 minutes , press and hold the wps button from your main router
> Now wait for lights to get stable on the extender
> If your Router supports the 2nd band(5Ghz) then you can repeat this same process in order configure your 5ghz band because this extender is also a dual band extender.
