  • To setup amped range extender follow these steps:-
    >Plugin the amped range extender near to your home router for the initial setup.
    *If you made any change on the extender or changed your router, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 30 seconds.
    >Once power light on extender gets stable connect any of your wireless device with amped wireless network.
    >Open any browser and in the address bar type 192.168.1.240 or http://setup.ampedwireless.com
    >Now you will see the SCAN button on the page, click on it and after that it will scan the wireless networks nearby to it.
    >From the list select network that you want to extend and then enter the password for same.
    >In the next step if you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
    >Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
    >Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.

  • If your extender is already configured with the existing network then check the ip address for the amped extender which is provided by your main router.
    > and to get the ip address of the amped extender
    > first of all connect your computer with the router's network
    > then open the browser and then login into the router's settings by typing its default ip address(for example: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.50.1), depends upon your router's model no.
    > enter your login information
    > then check the connected devices or dhcp client list and check the ip address for the amped extender
    > and then open that ip address in the browser and after that it will take you to the dashboard of the amped extender
    > and from there you can change the information for your extender.

  • Make sure if your extender is configured with the existing network then check IP address of your amped extender which is provided by your main router.
    > Firstly you need to get the IP address of your amped extender.
    > You need to connect PC with the router's network.
    > Afterthat open the browser and then login into the router's settings by typing its default IP address i.e :192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.50.1 ,) it will be depend upon on your router's model no.
    > Enter your log in information.
    > Then be sure connected devices or DHCP client list and check the IP address for your amped extender.
    > Then open that IP address in the browser and then you will be reach on the dashboard of your amped extender.
    > And then you will be able to change the information of your extender.
