I have a dual band linksys router, but only connecting to the 2.4ghz band. How do I connect to the 5 ghz band

First of all, check if your 2.4G and 5G networks names are different ,if not then change the name for your 5G band. You just need to login into your router’s settings and then change the name for 5Ghz bandAlso make sure about one thing that your smartphone or computer is compatible with the 5Ghz band.
