Turn on your Netgear Extender, then connect your computer or smartphone with the extender’s network. Now open your web browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.250. It will take you to the setup page, Create your account for the Netgear Extender. It will scan for the available wifi networks, select your main router’s network for the 2G and 5G band and hit next. Then enter the wifi password(if you don’t have 5g band on your main router then you can select “I don’t need a second network” and hit next.Now create your wifi information for the Netgear extender and hit next again. Now extender will apply the settings.

Steps you need to follow to setup the extender:-
- Plug the Netgear Extender into the power socket.
- Press the WPS button on the Extender and then press the WPS button on the Router.
- The led light on the extender on the will turn green.
- Your Extender is setup.
- Now you can try to connect your wireless devices with the extender.

TO CONNECT YOUR NETGEAR EX6100 EXTENDER YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. now you are on router main page go to wireless settings there you will find wifi protected setup
7. plug in the extender in wall socket please make sure here surge protector will not work fine.
8. press wps button on extender and press wps button on router main page .
9. it will automatically connected to network.

-Wizard will help you to setup your extender.
NETGEAR EX6100 SET UP –
1.TURN THE EXTENDER ON AND WAIT FOR THE LIGHTS TO BE SOLID.
2.THEN YOU CAN USE YOUR WIFI ENABLED DEVICE AND CONNECT ON THE EXTENDER WIFI.
3.OPEN YOUR BROWSER AND GO TO THE WEBSITE http://myywifiext.net AND YOU CAN ALSO TRY TO LOGIN USING 192.168.1.250 OR 192.168.1.254 .
4.GO THROUGH THE SETUP WIZARD AND SELECT YOUR WIFI ROUTERS NAME AND CONNECT IT.
5.WAIT FOR TWO MINUTES FOR THE CHANGES TO GET APPLIED AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO.
