my belkin extender has an amber light & is not showing up in my devices list

This means belkin is not properly set up with the network. To connect it again with the network press the reset key on the extender for 30 seconds and bring it closer to the modem. The maximum distance should not be more then 10 feet. After that go to the wireless device and open browser and on the top of the screen type 192.168.1.1. It will open the setup page. Just enter your credentials and follow the instructions to do the setup belkin with the network.
