- Turn On your Netgear Extender
- Connect your computer with the Extender's network
- Open your browser and type this address:- 192.168.1.250
- It will take you to the setup page
- It will scan for the available wifi networks, select your main router's wifi network that you want to extend and then hit next
- Now enter the wifi password for that network and hit next again
- On the next page, create the wifi information for the extender and then save the settings

Steps you need to follow to set up the extender:-
- Plug the Netgear Extender into the power socket.
- Press the WPS button on the Extender and then press the WPS button on the Router.
- The led light on the extender on the will turn green.
- Your Extender is setup.
- Now you can try to connect your wireless devices with the extender.

To set up your netgear extender –
1.Plug in the extender in the wall outlet.
2.Then on your computer or wifi enabled device you can connect on NETGEAR WNR300RP extender SSID.
3.Once you have connected the device to the extender, open the browser and open this website 192.168.1.250.
4.Once you have opened the NETGEAR WNR300RP extender page use admin for the username and password for the password.
5.Then just follow the simple setup wizard and select your existing network and enter the password.
6.Wait for two minutes for the setup to take place.
7.Last step is to plug in the NETGEAR WNR300RP extender wherever you want in the house but make sure its only 30-40 feets away from your router.

-Just plug your extender in wall power socket. !!NO SURGE PROTECTOR OR EXTENSIONS !!!
-Once Power light is solid you have two ways to setup–
Through wps-
-Press wps button on your extender for 5 seconds ,You will see blinking led.
-Then press wps on your router for 5 seconds .
-After few seconds the wps led on extender will get solid.
-Then on your device just go through http://mywifiext.net you will get setup wizard.

-Connect your device with extender open network then in your browser just type http://myywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250 /192.168.1.254
-You will get the setup wizard.

1. CONNECT YOUR EXTENDER IN A DIRECT WALL SOCKET.
