amped is showing amber light but not showing on wifi list

> make sure your extender is connected directly to the wall socket not to any surge protector
> your extender should be with in the range of the router ( with in 30 ft. from the main router)
> try rebooting your amped extender
> if it still not showing in the wifi list then reset your extender and then reconfigure it again and after that it should work.

* Make sure it is plugged in properly.
* Try pugging it off and plug it back in after 10 secounds.
once plugged in
* Try reseting the extender
(press the reset button for 30 sec)
once all lights are blinking
> Place it nearby your router just for the moment
[now it should show on the devices list]
