how to configure linksys router?
In order to set up a Linksys router please follow the instructions below:
> Make sure the router should be ON and connected to the Computer wirelessly or with an Ethernet Cable.
> Pull up a Browser and at the top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 / https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com
> You will be directed to a setup wizard screen for Linksys Dashboard
> Please follow the instructions and complete the setup
> Once the setup is completed, please connect your devices to the router's wifi and it should be good to go.
>Turn On your linksys router and connect an ethernet cable between your router and modem(cable should be connected to the internet slot of your linksys router)
>connect your computer with the routers's wifi network or we can also use an ethernet cable
>open your browser and type this address:- https://linksyssmartwifi.com or 192.168.1.1
>now follow the instructions and complete the setup
>once the setup is complete ,router is ready to use.

TO SET UP YOUR LINKSYS ROUTER YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. PLUG IN YOUR ROUTER TO A WALL SOCKET.
2. CONNECT AN ETHERNET CABLE FROM YOUR MODEM TO INTERNET PORT OF YOUR ROUTER.
3. CONNECT ANOTHER ETHERNET CABLE FROM PORT NO-4 OF YOUR ROUTER TO YOUR COMPUTER.
4. OPEN RUN WINDOW AND TYPE CMD.
5. THEN ON CMD WINDOW TYPE IPCONFIG IT WILL SHOW YOU NETWORK STATISTICS.
6. THEN OPEN A BROWSER AND TYPE DEFAULT GATEWAY IN ADDRESS BAR FOR LINKSYS ROUTER HIT ENTERS.
7. WHEN YOU WILL HIT ENTER KEY THERE WILL BE A PROMPT ASKING USERNAME AND PASSWORD.
8. DEFAULT USERNAME-admin PASSWORD-password for LINKSYS ROUTER.
9. IT WILL OPEN A SETUP WIZARD YOU JUST NEED TO FOLLOW STEPS AND YOU WILL BE CONNECTED TO NETWORK.
IF STILL PROBLEM PERSISTS YOU CAN RESET YOUR DEVICE.
