First of all, go to the web interface of your linksys router
>for that you need to type this address:- 192.168.1.1
then enter your regular router access password
>once you are logged in
>then go to the connectivity tab
>under basic ,you will see router password and next to that click on Edit option
>and from there we can change the router password and save the settings

To change linksys router password you need to login dashboard page.
- Open a web browser page on the top at url address bar type default IP address of your linksys router 192.168.1.1
- Â Linksys dashboard will open on your browser page.
- Click on connectivity option
- Click on basic option
- You can change your admin password of your router there..

1. Access the router’s web-based setup page.
2. Click on the Administration tab. Enter the new password in both the Router Password and Re-enter to confirm fields.
3. Click Save Settings and click the Continue button on the next page.
