Plug your range extender into a power outlet. Wait until the light starts blinking orange. Connect an ethernet cable from the router to your range extender and wait until the LED turns green.Connect a wireless computer or a mobile device to the range extender’s default SSID, which is Linksys Extender Setup – xxx. Open a web browser, then enter “http://extender.linksys.com” in the Address bar. Select the As a wired range extender (Access point) option, then click Next. Select the As a wired range extender (Access point) option, then click Next. Create an admin password to secure your range extender, then click Save. =Your range extender is now set up in Access Point mode.
