  • Downloading the firmware

    Step 1:
    Launch a web browser and access the Belkin Support site.
    Step 2:
    Enter the model number of your Belkin range extender in the Enter model # field and press [Enter].

    QUICK TIP: If you don’t know the model number of your device, click on the How do I find my model number? link.
    Step 3:
    Select your device.
    Step 4:
    Under DOWNLOADS, select the firmware file.

    Step 5:
    Click the Download link.
    Step 6:
    Select the Save File radio button then click OK.

    Updating the range extender

    Step 1:
    Once you have downloaded the firmware, open a web browser and enter “http://belkin.range/” in the Address bar, then press [Enter].

    Step 2:
    Click Login.

    Step 3:
    Enter your range extender’s Password then click Submit.

    NOTE: If you haven’t set up a Password, leave the field blank then click Submit.

    Step 4:
    Select Firmware Update.

    Step 5:
    Click Browse… or Choose File button and select the firmware that you have downloaded, then click Open.

    Step 6:
    Click Update.

    Step 7:
    When the prompt appears, click OK.

    Step 8:
    Another prompt would appear stating that the device will not respond during the upgrade. Click OK.

    Wait while your firmware is being updated.

  • first you need to check model no. of your router and download manually download the firmware of your router and save it.
    now login into the belkin router dashboard open the firmware setting and check update required if there is update available then browse the download file and update it.Router will be reboot once their and good to go.

    IMPORTANT: Do NOT unplug, power OFF, or restart the range extender while the firmware is updating.
    You should now have successfully updated the firmware of your Belkin range extender.
