1. Make sure you are connected to the linksys router’s network. (preffered ethernet connection)
2. Open a browser and go to http://www.linksyssmartwifi.com / 192.168.1.1
3. Login to your linksys router and you will see the web GUI for the router.
4. Go to connectivity > Firmware > Check for updates.
5. If an update is available you can install the update.
6. The router reboots after the update and we are all set.
