  • First check your hardware model, Manually update the firmware of your device.
    Login into your extender interface.
    go to the setting>> select system tools>> under system tool you will see firmware upgrade click on it.
    Browse the download file and click on upgrade.
    extender will be reboot once and after good to go.
    Warning: do not download any wrong firmware otherwise extender will stop working and cause damage.

  • Steps to upgrade the firmware of TP-Link RE350 are as below:
    1. Go to the TP Link support website and select the model no. and H/W ver of your device.
    2. Then download the latest firmware available on the support page in zip format.
    3. Extract the zip file and save it to a location on your computer.
    4. Connect the extender to the computer using an ethernet cable.
    5. Open the extender management page on a browser.
    6. Click on System Tools-Firmware Upgrade (or Firmware); click on Browse/Choose File to find the extracted firmware file and click open.
    7. Click the Upgrade button. The device will reboot automatically after the upgrade has been finished.
    8. Some firmware updates will restore your extender to factory settings. If this is the case run the Quick Setup Wizard to reconfigure your TP-Link extender.
    9. Click Status, check if the router’s firmware has been upgraded
