  • #Plug the extender into an electrical
    outlet near your router.
    1. Unplug the Ethernet cable
    from your computer (if any).
    2. Click the Wireless
    Network Connection icon
    on your taskbar.
    3. Click the refresh icon
    and connect to the
    extender’s network:
    TP-LINK_Extender_2.4GHz
    or _5GHz.
    *For Mac OS X Users
    1. Unplug the Ethernet cable from your computer (if any).
    2. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner of the
    screen, and connect to the extender’s network:
    TP-LINK_Extender_2.4GHz or _5GHz.
    #Launch a web browser and type
    http://tplinkrepeater.net in the address
    field. Use admin (all lowercase) for both
    Username and Password to log in
    Create a new username and password for
    log in the web management page, then
    click Confirm.
    Select your router’s 2.4GHz or 5GHz host
    network and enter the password, then click
    Next.
    You can customize the Extended 2.4GHz
    and 5GHz SSIDs or keep the host network
    SSIDs (default), then click Next.
    Verify your wireless settings and click Finish.
    The corresponding LEDs
    Verify your wireless settings and click Finish.
    The corresponding LEDs ( / )
    should turn solid on.

  • To setup Tplink RE350 range extender follow these steps:-
    >Plugin the range extender into the wall socket near to your home router for the initial setup.
    *If you made any change on the extender before, then reset the extender by pressing reset button for at least 30 seconds.
    >Connect any of your wireless device with Tplink extender wireless network.
    >Open any browser and in the address bar type 192.168.0.254 or http://tplinkrepeater.net
    >Now you will see the setup wizard in the page, follow the instructions to setup the range extender
    >If you want you can change the name of extended network and password of your choice that you want for it.
    >Now save the settings and range extender will reboot after saving the settings.
    >Once extender lights get solid connect your devices to the extended network and try to go online so that we can check that extender setup done successfully.

  • Method ONE Using a Web Browser:
    1. Plug the extender into an electrical outlet near your router.
    2. Connect to the extender’s network: TP-LINK_Extender_2.4GHz or _5GHz.
    3. Launch a web browser and type http://tplinkrepeater.net in the address field. Use admin (all lowercase) for both Username and Password to log in.
    4. Create a new username and password for log in the web management page, then click Confirm.
    5. Select your router’s 2.4GHz or 5GHz host network and enter the password, then click Next.
    6. You can customize the Extended 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSIDs or keep the host network SSIDs (default), then click Next.
    7. Verify your wireless settings and click Finish.
    8. Now you can Relocate the extender and plug it into an electrical outlet between your router (Host Network) and the Wi-Fi “dead” zone. The location you choose must be within the range of your existing host network.
    9. Wait until the LED is lit and solid blue. If not, relocate it closer to the router to achieve a good (or better) signal quality.
    10. Enjoy

    Method TWO Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):
    1. Using WPS is an easier way to extend your host network. You are recommended to use this method if your host
    router has the WPS button.
    2. Plug the extender into an electrical outlet near your router.
    3. Press the WPS button on your router, and then press the button on the extender.
    4. If you are connecting the extender to a dual-band router but only 2.4GHz or 5GHz LED is on, repeat step 1 again to connect the other band.
    5. Once connected you can relocate the extender.
    6. The location you choose must be within the range of your existing host network.
    7. Enjoy.
