follow these steps for setup of belkin n600 -
- Open the default address http://192.168.2.1(your IP address could be different).
Normally Belkin ship routers with no username or password. If there is a username it’s “admin”.
3. Click DNS on the left side.
4. You might be asked for password again – leave blank if you have no password.
5. Uncheck Automatic from ISP.
6. Enter 185.37.37.37 and 185.37.39.39 in the DNS fields.
7. Click Apply Changes.
8. Restart router and connected devices.

Verify if your computer is getting an internet connection by accessing a website.

In this case, you need to follow below-mentioned steps-
>first of all if you made any changes on it you need to reset your Belkin N600 Range Extender by pressing the Reset button for 20 seconds(while it’s powered on).
>Once the Extender lights stop flashing then you can easily reconfigure it simply by performing WPS Method on it.
> To do WPS process you need to press the WPS button of your home router for 3 seconds and then within 1 minute, you need to press the same WPS button of your Belkin Extender for 3 seconds.
> Once you find that the lights of the extender are solid/stable, you can connect to its network using the router’s WiFi password with any of your wireless devices and then try to go online so that you come to know its working fine.

How to setup an Belkin N600 DB Extender?
For new Belkin N600 DB Extender.
Just press the WPS on your router/modem first for 1-2 seconds, then press the WPS on Belkin N600 DB Extender for 3-5 seconds.
Now wait for 2 minutes.
The difference in light color and pattern will confirm its connection.
For Used/ old Extender: If its an used Belkin N600 DB Extender then first reset it using a paper clip to press the reset button in a tiny hole for 30 seconds.
Now its brand new, or by default one.
Wait for 2 minutes after reset then proceed further as setup New Extender.
Its now extending your home network with same password as of your home wifi.
Note:
1. During setup, make sure that the Belkin N600 DB Extender is placed within 7-10 feet from Router, at the time of setup, or in the same room.
2. Two minutes patience is the Critical Time that make the difference between success and failure in Setup.
