How to set up linksys router ?

• To setup the Linksys Router
  Firstly connect your modem to the internet port of the Linksys router and also your computer to any of the four LAN ports.
  Then check for the Led lights are lit on the router and then proceed with the connection.
  On the computer open up a web browser and type the ip address 192.168.1.1 to have the startup page come up.
  Leave the username empty and type Admin in the password.Click setup and then Mac Address Clone.
  You have to enable the MAC Address Clone feature. This will allow your ISP to recognize the router as the computer with the registered MAC Address.Select Enabled and click on Clone my Pc’s Mac and click Save Settings.
  Once the MAC Address Clone feature is enabled,check the Internet status should be active.
  For checking the internet connection click on the Status Tab and check if the id address is available
  If there is 0.0.0.0 then click on Release and then Renew ip address.

  Now the internet will be working You can connect your wireless devices now.

• In order to set up your Linksys router follow the steps given below:
  > Connect a cable from your modem’s LAN port to the internet port of the router
  > Connect your computer wireless to the routers default SSID or via Ethernet cable
  > Pull up a browser and at the top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 or https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com and hit enter
  > you will come through your router login screen default username: admin and Password: admin
  > setup page will come up, Follow the instruction to complete the setup
