  • 1.Open your web browser and type in the IP address of the router (if you don’t know this, it will most probably be written on the back of your router or in its box/manual). It will look something like 192.168.1.1
    2.Press enter. Now the router will ask you for the username and password before it allows you access. The default ones are admin/admin. If this isn’t working and you don’t remember the credentials, you can always contact your internet provider and ask them.
    3.Click on the Tools tab on the top and the System Commands on the left.
    4.Here you will be seeing a button named Restore Default Settings. Click it. You will be disconnected with your router and it will resort back to factory settings.

  • If the reset button on the Tplink Re450 Extender is not working you can reset it using the factory default setting on the Tplink extender login page.
    Or
    You can try the 30-30-30 Seconds hard reset process, In which you have to press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds and while holding the reset button unplug it from the power wait for 30 seconds and then power it on wait for 30 seconds and then release the reset button.
