how to setup a Linksys Extender with a Linksys Router?

Plugin the Linksys Extender to Wall Socket, in same room as of Linksys router. Then wait for 2 minutes.
Press the WPS button from Router for 3 second, then from Linksys Extender for 10 second and wait for 1 minute.
The Change in light color of Extender will confirm the setup, now unplug from here and plug it somewhere you want better internet connectivity.
It will show the same name as of your main WiFi network with _Ext in the end.

Be sure the range extender is plugged in and LED is solid green.

On your computer, smartphone or tablet, connect to the wifi network: “Linksys Extender Setup”.
NOTE: In newer versions, the setup network will appear as “Linksys Extender Setup – XXX” . XXX are the last 3 digits of your range extender’s MAC address. If you see more than one setup network, you can find the MAC address on the back or the bottom of your range extender.

Once connected, Type extender.linksys.com in your browser and follow the onscreen instructions to complete setup.
You can follow these steps to setup your Linksys Range Extender:-
>Place the Linksys range extender nearby to your home router and power it on for the initial setup.
>Press the WPS button on your extender and hold it down for 3-5 seconds.
>Within the 1-minute press WPS button on your home router.
>Wait for the extender lights get stable and now try to connect any of your wireless devices with the extended network.
*If you want to connect your range extender with 5GHz network then repeat the same steps once again.
First make sure your extender is placed near to the router and your extender power light should be solid to set it up.
On a computer, smartphone, or tablet, connect to the WiFi network name of the extender called Linksys Extender Setup.
You get a extender configuration page on your computer from there you need to follow the steps given there
Select the the name of your WiFi to connect the extender with your home network put the password of your wireless network.
After successfully connecting to your router’s wireless network, you will see a confirmation message saying, Your extender is now configured.

In order to set up the Linksys Range extender you would need to follow the following steps:
Step 1
> First connect your computer wireless or wired to the range extender
> login to extender.linksys.com or 192.168.1.1
> initiate the setup.
Step 2
> Press the WPS button on the router first for 3 seconds and then on the extender for 3 seconds once the light on the extender stops blinking the setup is complete.
