  • In order to change the password on the linksys Extender you would need to follow the instruction below:
    >logon to the Extender login page either using the IP address default i is 192.168.1.1 or by logging in to https://extender,linksys.com
    > The default username and password is admin and admin
    > once you are logged into the Dashboard for you linksys router on the left panel at the bottom you will see wireless click on it.
    > you can change your WIFI password and save the settings
    > reboot the extender and the password is changed.
