how to update the firmware of my Netgear Router?

• In Order to update the firmware of the router Netgear Please follow the instruction Below:
  > Connect your Computer to the router Wireless or via Ethernet cable
  > Pull up a browser on the computer and at the very top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 or http://www.routerlogin.net and then hit enter.
  > A screen will appear and it will ask you for the default name and password, the default username: admin and the Password: password or if you have changed it during the setup enter the credentials.
  > you will be logged in into the netgear genie dashboard of the router
  > on the top you will see “a new firmware for the router is available” click on that it will show up a file to update, click on yes and wait. The router firmware will be updated.
