How to setup b1900eX AMPED EXTENDER THROUGH WIFI. MY ROUTER IS 200 SQ FEET AWAY FROM THE EXTENDER ?

This extender can cover up to 7500 sq ft.
– You need to reset the extender first.
– Press the reset button for 10 seconds and release it.
– Now connect an ethernet cable from extender to PC via ethernet.
– Now visit https://192.168.1.240
– Hit scan and configure it.
You need to connect your Computer on the amped wireless .
Then pull up the browser and type in default ip address of your amped extender . i.e 192.168.1.240
Then scan for the available networks and enter the password of your wifi.
Assign the name and password for your extended wireless settings.
Then finish the set up process and reconnect on your new extenders wifi and and you are ready to go know
To setup your B1900EX Range Extender you can follow these steps:-
*Note:- Your Range Extender should get more than 70% of signals strength from the router to complete the initial setup.
>Power on your range extender and connect any of your wireless devices to range extender network.
>Open any of your web browsers and enter http://setup.ampedwireless.com
*Note:- http://setup.ampedwireless.com will not work then try to open with IP address: http://192.168.1.240
>Now you will see setup wizard, first of all it will ask you to scan for the networks and after that select the network that you want to extend by putting the password.
>Do follow the instructions to complete the setup and you can customize the extender networks(2.4 GHz & 5GHz) name and the password according to your choice.
>After completing the setup process try to connect any of your extended networks so that you come to know you did the setup in the correct way.
In order to setup a Amped Extender REC10 Please follow the instructions below:
> plug in your extender near to the Router for the primary setup
> Connect your computer wireless to the Extended Wifi
> Pull a browser on the computer and on the very top on the address bar type in 192.168.1.240 hit enter
> Create your username and password and then follow the instructions to complete the setup.
