The Ip address for my router and extender is same wont let me pull up extender setup wizard?

• In this case please follow the instructions below:
  > make sure the computer is connected just to the extender wireless or via ethernet cable
  > pull up a browser and at the top on the address bar type in extender.linksys.com or 192.168.1.1 and hit enter
  > You will get to the setup screen follow the instruction you should be good.
  OR
  > Press the WPS Button on the extender for 3 Seconds and then Press the WPS button on the router for 3 Seconds
  > When you see the WPS light on the extender stops blinking and goes to a solid green
  > reboot the extender and your are good to go.
