How to setup a range extender using a WPS Button ?
IN ORDER TO SETUP THE RANGE EXTENDER WITH THE HELP OF WPS BUTTON WE HAVE TO FOLLOWING STEP
BRING THE RANGE EXTENDER NEAR TO THE ROUTER
PLUG THE RANGE EXTENDER IN THE SOCKET
PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE RANGE EXTENDER FOR 3-5 SECONDS AND THEN RELEASE
WHEN THERE IS A FLASHING LIGHT ON THE RANGE EXTENDER
THEN PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE ROUTER FOR 2-3 SECONDS
WHEN THE LIGHT ON THE EXTENDER STOPS FLASHING IT MEANS YOUR EXTENDER SETUP IS COMPLETE

PLUG THE RANGE EXTENDER IN THE SOCKET
PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE RANGE EXTENDER FOR 3-5 SECONDS AND THEN RELEASE
WHEN THERE IS A FLASHING LIGHT ON THE RANGE EXTENDER
THEN PRESS THE WPS BUTTON ON THE ROUTER FOR 2-3 SECONDS
WHEN THE LIGHT ON THE EXTENDER STOPS FLASHING IT MEANS YOUR EXTENDER SETUP IS COMPLETE
Plug your range extender near to your Router.
Now Press the WPS button on the router for 4 seconds.
Now Press the WPS button the range extender for 4 seconds.
Wait for 3-4 minutes.
Now Look for the Router name with EXT.
Connect to it using router password.
There are several ways to connect your netgear extender i.e ethernet cable method ,wps method and many more but i am sharing wps method here for wps method you need to follow these steps:-
1. connect your extender in a direct wall socket near by your router for setup.
2. press wps button on your extender for 3-5 seconds.
3. press wps button on your router (you can do it by accessing router main page also).
4. it will be connected to your routers network.
5. you will see your network name with ext affixed in it.
6. connect to the same network .
7. it will open a setup wizard for you.
8. follow the on screen instructions and you are good to go now.

Plug your extender near to your router maybe by 5 feets to 10 feets
Press the WPS button on the extender for 4 – 5 seconds once you see a flashing light on the extender
press and hold the WPS button the router or 3 -4 seconds
once you see a the flashing light on the extender shops flashing the extender setup is complete using WPS
