To change the credentials of your router kindly follow these steps:-
1. Press windows + R key that will open run window for you.
2. Type CMD in the run box.
3. Open Ipconfig and check network statistics.
4. Open your default gateway in any browser.
5. Type your user name and password .
6. It will open router main page then you need to go to wireless section .
7. Under wireless section you can change passphrase/network key and your network name as well.
You need to open the default gateway assigned to your router.
Enter the username and password and login to the web based ui of it.
Now go to the wireless tab and made the necessary changes and save it.
Once done your router will reboot and after that you need to reconnect your all devices with fresh settings.
– To change the administrative username or password of TP-Link Wireless Routers you need to access the router login page via any of the browser using a computer tablet or a phone.
– Type the IP address of the router usually is 192.168.0.1 will ask you for the username and password which is ‘admin’, ‘admin’ for both.
– Clicking on Login gives you access to the router page.Hit the Advanced Tab and on the left, you get the options of changing the login password and username.
In order to change the wifi name and the password for Tplink router you need to follow the following steps:
> you would need to connect to the router wit the TPLINK wireless or via ethernet cable.
> logon to a http://www.tplinkwifi.com or you can logon to 192.168.0.1
> default username is : admin and the default password is : admin
> go to the basic settings under you will see the wireless settings and security
> change the name and the password for the wifi here and save the new settings by clickin on save
> reboot the router and wait for 2 minutes
> Connect your devices to the new name and the password wifi
