linksys router wrt54gl setup is not working. Cannot connect to wifi. I got an old linksys router, trying to setup it again.

The default password of your Linksys router is admin. … Resetting the router will erase its current settings.
Step 1: Press and hold the reset button of your router for 30 seconds.
Step 2: Observe the router’s Power LED while pressing the button. It should blink or flash – an indication that the router is resetting properly.
Step 3:Unplug the power cable from the router for 30 seconds then plug it back in.
In this case you can try wps push button method for connecting your devices with wireless connection.
Once connected you can check the password of your existing wireless network.
In case still you are not connected then you need to reset the router .
In order to change the password on the linksys router you would need to logon to the router login page ether busing the IP address default ip is 192.168.1.1 or by logging in to https://www.linksyssmartwifi.com.
